Our Story

Graham Church started in the 1870’s from land and funds donated by John Graham.  The church operated as both a church and a school from time to time.  Graham Church operated as a Methodist church until the depression.  During that time the church shut down due to lack of a pastor and funds to operate.  During the 17 year hiatus the church fell into disrepair.  A pastor from Owosso then gathered the funds to purchase the property from the Methodist Church and make the necessary repairs.  The newly reformed Graham Church resumed operation as a non-denominational church and continues operation today at their new location in Shaftsburg, which they moved to in 2016.  Michael and Heather McDonald purchased the property in 2016 and transformed the property into a wedding venue.  The wedding venue continues to operate today; however, weddings typically only occur on weekends.  This meant the property was only being used regularly a few days a week.  Heather, determined to change this, decided a winery would be just what the area needed.  In 2022 the process was started to obtain Federal approval for a winery.  On June 7th, 2024 the winery officially opened for business.  We know the story does not end here.  We will continue to grow and have exciting plans for the future!

Sparkling Peach Front

Sparkling Peach

Our Sparkling Peach wine is a fan favorite and one of our best selling wines.  Made from all Michigan fruit, this wine is sure to please you too.  Available by the bottle, glass or in a flight with your other favorite wines.  We have bottles chilled and ready for you to pick up anytime.  This wine pairs best with cheeses, fruit, and desserts.

Red Wines

While we have several red wines available, our Cabernet Sauvignon is one of our most popular reds.  Cabernet Sauvignon is a full bodied wine with medium tannins and acidity.  With the opulence of deep layers of fresh fruit, dry wine lovers rejoice with our Cabernet Sauvignon.  This wine pairs well with beef, aged cheeses and dark chocolates.
